The FCSS Resource Centre serves as a community hub for
resources and support; FCSS is the starting point for accessing community supports and resources and staff are often the first point of contact for community members looking for information, assistance, or support.

The Resource Centre staff serves as both a guide and a connector of community support services and therefore staff are responsible for maintaining a strong working knowledge of the support services available and required for families, adults, and seniors. Supports for basic needs, employment, and housing are some of the many needs addressed through information and referral. The Resource Centre staff also assist with calls, faxing, completing government forms, and photocopying.

The FCSS Resource Centre also operates a satellite office program. On a weekly basis, staff from programs such as Alberta Works, Youth Probation, Adult Probation, and Child Support Services operate out of the Resource Centre

FCSS also supports preventative social programs that promote, encourage and facilitate the development of a strong community through citizen involvement and volunteerism.
